Fran Knorr

Fran Knorr, 73, of Baltimore, passed away on November 25, 2021. She was born in Naples, Italy to the late James and Maddalena Cegelski. In 1954, the family emigrated to Locust Point to live with the Cegelski family. Devoted to her faith, she was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel in South Baltimore, where she attended grade school. Her life revolved around the three “F’s” – Faith, Family and Friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Knorr.

Fran is survived by her devoted sons, Dave (Michele) and Erik Knorr; loving siblings, Walter Cegelski (Lynn), Richard Cegelski (Debra), and Betty Luckhurst (Jim); and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Weds., Dec. 1st, from 3 - 7 PM.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thurs., 11 AM, at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 1532 E. Fort Avenue, Baltimore, MD, 21230. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made in her name to EWTN Global Catholic Television Network by visiting www.ewtn.com or a Catholic charity of your choice.
