Faith “Fay” Ann McNamee, 72 of Severn passed away on November 19, 2024. Fay was born on June 7, 1952 in Washington, DC to the late Harry and Ethel Willis. Fay was a dedicated retired Federal Government employee, who lived her life with unwavering commitment to her career and an affection for her family. She found joy in shopping and had a particular fondness for flowers that brightened both her home and her spirit. She had a special appreciation for old western shows, which provided her with comfort and entertainment. She was a gifted baker and her enthusiasm for crafting allowed her to express her creativity and share her talents with others. Fay's love for Longaberger baskets was a testament to her appreciation for quality craftsmanship and traditional arts. Above all, Fay cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit and warm personality made her a guiding light in their lives.
She is survived by her husband, Mike McNamee; her children, Tiffany Rush (John Rush III), Brian McNamee (Maria McNamee) and Arianna McNamee (Tom Vickers IV); her grandchildren, Noah and Hunter McNamee, John Rush IV, Priscilla Rush and Hailey Vickers; her siblings, Ruby Tucker, Lou Williams, Irene Redman, Betty Whirley and Joyce Willis; and her dear labradoodle, Jack.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Sunday, Nov. 24th from 3-6 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, Nov. 25, 2024 at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Glen Haven Mem. Park.
