Eric Gregory Frazier, age 72, of Millersville, Maryland, peacefully passed away at home on Saturday, January 6th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family after bravely facing an extended illness. Beloved father of Melissa L. Dillon and her husband Andrew and Nathan D. Frazier and his wife Michele. Devoted Paw Paw of Paul, Joe, Luca, Evangeline and Florentia. Brother of Elena Gilden. Brother-in-law of Barry Gilden and Ann and Lori Frazier. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Eric was preceded in death by his parents; Hazel and William Frazier and his siblings; Jeff and Joel Frazier.
A beloved brother, father, and grandfather, Eric leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him. Eric's adventurous spirit manifested in the creation of cherished memories with his family. His deep love for camping allowed him to share countless joyful moments exploring the beauty of the outdoors. As a young man, Eric embarked on traveling adventures, living in Italy and Germany, and transversing the United States from the West Coast to the South and finally settling on the East Coast.
Despite his passion for the outdoors, Eric was a Gamer at heart, affectionately known as Epic Gamer Paw Paw. Always ready to engage in gaming sessions with his grandsons and friends, his enthusiasm for the digital world showcased his ability to connect with people in both traditional and contemporary ways.
As we remember Eric, let us celebrate the life of a man who dedicated himself to family, education, and service to his country as an Officer and Linguist in the United States Army, Air Force and Navy.
While he will be greatly missed, his spirit will forever be remembered in our hearts.
His Committal Service and Interment will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, MD 21032 at 10:45 am. If desired, Memorial Contributions may be made in his name to the Wounded Warriors Project or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN. Arrangements were handled by the Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
