Elmer Joseph Litz, Jr.

         On Monday, February 10, 2025, Elmer Joseph Litz, Jr. of Ferndale, MD passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara E. Litz; loving children, Tessa M. Clements and her husband, Bob, Adam M. Litz and his wife, Ivana, Eric P. Litz and his wife, Stacie; cherished grandchildren, Joey, Adam, Alaina, Ella and Sadie; and adored great- granddaughter, Harley. He will also be missed by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Elmer was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Lewis; and his parents, Lula and Elmer J. Litz Sr. 

         Elmer was very proud of his military service in the United States Air Force and loved building model airplanes as a hobby.  He also enjoyed playing golf and shooting pool.  Elmer was a 1950 graduate of Loyola High School.

         Family and friends are invited to gather at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 2nd Avenue, SW ,(at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Friday, February 14th, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, February 15th, 11 AM, at St. Clement Catholic Church, 2700 Washington Avenue, Lansdowne, MD 21227.  His inurnment will be held at a later date privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Clement Catholic Church.
