Doris Gillespie

Doris Gillespie, 96 passed away on December 5, 2022. Doris was born on January 27, 1926 in Virginia. She worked for over 40 years as an accountant with the railroad. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gillespie, Jr. Doris is survived by her step son, John E. Gillespie; her niece, Lisa C. Weekley (Lewis) along with other loving nieces and nephews. She enjoyed sewing, making pottery, painting duck decoys and coloring books. She also loved her church, Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Monday, December 12th from 12-1 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
