Doris Boyd

Doris Ann Boyd, 79, of Glen Burnie, passed away on February 10, 2023. She was born in Baltimore to the late Alvin Roland and Marian Geraldine Garnett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Meredith J. Boyd; and her siblings, Ray, Jimmy, Donald, Bobby, Jane and Patsy.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Vicky L. Gerzsenyi (Gene), Robin A. Butler (Kevin) and Kelley L. Boyd (Frank McNeeley); cherished grandchildren, Brett, Brandi, Christopher, Jacob, Katelyn and Trevon; and dear brother, Richard Garnett. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at the Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA,  1 Second Avenue, SW ( at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Monday, February 20, 2023, at 11:00 AM. A "Time of Friendship & Gathering" will be held prior from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
