Diane Zerhusen

Diane Zerhusen, 81, of Linthicum Heights, passed away on November 15, 2023. She was born in Baltimore to the late Albert and Mary Bernadette Cover. Diane dedicated her career to teaching and made a significant impact on the lives of countless students in Anne Arundel and Baltimore Counties. Her passion for education shone brightly through her work at Our Lady of Victory, Arthur Slade, Crofton Woods Elementary, and Hilltop Elementary School. Even after retiring, Diane's generous spirit continued to shine through her activism. She co-founded HOPE For All, an organization that helped those in need within Anne Arundel County. Diane was a pillar of faith as an active and devoted member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Her commitment to her community extended beyond her professional life and charitable endeavors. She found immense happiness in spending quality time with her family, listening to Elvis and embarking on new adventures while traveling.

Diane is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Leo J. Zerhusen; loving son and daughter-in-law, Leo and Stephanie Zerhusen; and her cherished grandsons, Paul and Landon. She will also be missed by many loving extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, Glen Burnie, on Sunday, Nov. 19th, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, 11 AM, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church.
