Debra Grimes

Debra Louise Grimes, 55, a resident of Shady Side, passed away suddenly on July 13, 2013, at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born on March 10, 1958 in Baltimore, MD.
Debbie is survived by her three loving daughters, Kimberly Washington, Stephanie Austera, and Katie Grimes; her five beloved grandchildren, Hannah Washington, Layla Washington, Kendall Washington, Hayley Austera, and Ashton Austera; her cherished father, Telford Lape; her dear sisters, Pat Orash, Linda Halkovich, and Karen Lape; her devoted, long-time companion, Dave Faircloth; and many members of her extended family.
Debbie was married to Bernard Grimes, a loving husband and father, who predeceased her in 1996 after 19 years of marriage. She was also predeceased by her beloved mother, Betty Lape.
Always with a fondness of young children, Debbie worked at Tracey's Landing Elementary School as a food service worker. She had a passion for Baltimore sports teams and NASCAR racing.
