David Edward Freyman Jr., 76, of Severn, passed away on July 22, 2022. He was born in Baltimore to the late David Edward and Helen Louise Freyman Hopkins. He was honorably discharged from the United States Navy, and retired as Lieutenant after many years with the Fort Meade Fire Department. He was also a part time driver for both Huber’s and Dillon’s Bus Service. David was a member of the American Legion Post 276 and enjoyed woodworking, coin collecting, and was an avid reader. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, John Freyman, Jody Freyman and Ruth Miner.
David is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Debbie; loving daughters, Kimberly Barnhill (Terry) and Sherry Ann Hagner; cherished grandchildren, Brian Hagner, Christopher Hagner Sr., Brandy Kennington and Rachel Barnhill; beloved great-grandchildren, Chris Jr., Briella, Clayton, Alex, Maranda, Brayden, Brayleigh, Madison, and Jaxson; and his dear sisters, Deborah Jeffries and Robin Moore. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Thurs., July 28th, from 4 – 7 PM. There will be a time of open sharing starting at 6:30 PM. A final viewing will be held on Friday, from 12 – 12:30 PM, with a graveside service immediately following at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
