Charles Lane

On October 15, 2006, Charles E. Lane passed on. Charles was a loving husband for 51 years to the late Iris Lane, a dear father to Steven and Michael Lane, and a dear brother to the late Ambrose Lane. Charles was born in Virginia. He was a resident of Glen Burnie, Maryland for 47 years. He was a member of the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946. He then began a career as a welder. He worked for MD Shipbuilding and Dry Dock for over 30 years. Charles enjoyed life. He loved gardening, walking, being a handyman and watching sports. He was a big fan of both the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltmore Ravens. Charles will be missed by many.
