Carolyn Louise Gaglione

Carolyn Louise Gaglione passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her daughters, on December 2, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on April 18, 1938, in Somerville, Massachusetts, Carolyn was one of nine children, born to the late Charles and Jean Haker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, James Alfred Gaglione; loving son-in-law, Scott Garber; beloved daughter, Patricia Garber; loving son-in-law, Larry Newman; beloved son, James A. Gaglione Jr.; and her dear siblings, James Haker, Alyce O'Brien, Margaret Johnson, Charles Haker, William Haker, Jeanne Callahan, and Dorothy Cronin.

Carolyn’s spirit shone brightly in her passions. She treasured her weekly Saturday card games with friends, turning moments into memories filled with joy. She devoted much of her time to volunteering with Partners In Care, embodying the true spirit of community service. Her love for travel created unforgettable adventures, each cherished in her heart.

Yet, it was her family that brought her the greatest happiness—her devoted daughters, Pamela Newman (Bill Booth), Paula Gatz (Mike), and Penny Gaglione (Matt Pusheck), held her heart in ways words cannot express. Carolyn took immense pride in her grandchildren, Kyle Gatz (Alyssa), Scotty Garber (Amber), Katy Clayton (Mike), Zachary Garber (Courtney), Jake Duncan, Abby Sagle (Landon), and Michael Newman. She celebrated each milestone with joy, and her adored great-grandchildren, Elianna, Mila, Lucas, Emilie, Livi, Dawson, and Kyla, were true sources of her pride, especially as she awaited the arrival of yet another little one on the way.

Carolyn is also survived by her loving sister, Diane Indrisano, and many friends who will forever remember her warmth, kindness, and infectious laughter.

A visitation in honor of Carolyn will take place on Monday, December 15th, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services PA.  A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
