Carole Sales

June 16, 1945 — July 19, 2021

Glen Burnie

Carole Lee Sales (Colbert) - Mom, Mom-Mom ,G-Mom-Mom, WEW (Wonderful Ex-Wife), Aunt, Cousin, Friend & FurMommy

For Carole her family was her world.  Taking care of others was her mission in life.

With 6 children, 17 grandchildren, and 15 Great grandchildren, Carole never missed a celebration, birthday, anniversary, Easter or Christmas. She always made everyone feel special, even if she was late, and illegally parked, she was there.

Disney World has always been her happy place. Before she finished one trip, she was already planning the next visit, usually with a different group of kids and grandkids.

Her other passions included, Bingo, Karaoke, Bingo, Trump, Dunkin Donuts, Bath & Bodyworks Kohls coupons, a “little” blackberry brandy, and telling Pete what to do.

The Most opinionated selfless person who has ever existed. You never had to wonder what she was thinking. If she liked you or didn’t, you would know it. If you asked for her opinion or not, she would share it. She often provided colorful language, but her heart was pure gold.

Regardless of how she felt about anyone, if they needed help anytime, anyplace, she would find away. She would give up her last dollar for a stranger without thinking of herself.

Carole has never concerned herself with “Having”, her entire life has been about “Helping”. She lived her life by her own rules. She always knew the right thing to do in any situation, and she was fearless and unstoppable in getting those things done.

When one steps back and looks at her life, it is reminiscent of another who came many years ago – who was not concerned with earthly possessions,  but dedicated their life to trying to help others while spreading love.  Perhaps Carole’s message of love was a little louder and used different words, but there is no denying she has touched more lives than any of us can really comprehend.

Carole Sales -She did it her way – with a heart of Gold!
