Carlton Williams

A beautiful life ended on Monday, December 13, 2021. Carlton A. Williams was born on July 30, 1962 in Alabama to Bessie Williams (nee Stamper) and the late James Williams. Carl was educated in the Anne Arundel County Public School system. He met and married his late wife, Roberta “Bobbie” Williams (nee Myers). They were married 38 years, but were never blessed with children.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved mother, Bessie Williams; his dear brother, Glenn Williams; special aunt, Doris Stamper of Hollister, NC, aunt Christine Stamper of Baltimore, MD; uncle Van Stamper of East Orange, NC; uncle Joseph & Louis Stamper; four nieces, two nephews, cousins and friends. He is also survived by a longtime friend of the family, Charles Bellany of Silver Spring and Henry Thomas of Hollister, NC. We all will miss him, but we know that God doesn’t make mistakes. He will forever be in our hearts.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Tuesday, December 28th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 29th at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD.
