Bernard "Bernie" W. Wheeler

        On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, Bernard “Bernie” William Wheeler,  aged 100 years, of Odenton, MD passed away peacefully with family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth C. Wheeler; devoted companion of Jo Ann E. Kernan; loving father of Glenn Wheeler and his wife, Joann, Shane Wheeler and his wife, Carol, Sharon Neenan, and Holly Ahrens and her husband, James; devoted grandfather of Joe, Jacklyn, Melissa, Nicholas, Ryan, Brent, Logan and Jim; and cherished great-grandfather of Mason, Deaglan, Evelyn, Alex, Max, Wesley, Brooke and Emily. He is also survived by his brother, Ray Wheeler; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends. Bernie was also preceded in death by his sisters, Shirley Wheeler and Marie Paul; and his parents, Bessie and William Wheeler.

        Family and friends are invited to gather at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 2nd Avenue, SW ,(at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm where a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 10:00 am. His committal service and interment will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD.
