Barbara Dean Stilling, born on June 2, 1941, in Cleveland, Tennessee, to the late Smith and Della Sue Moore, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025, in Arnold, Maryland.
Barbara enjoyed a successful career as a Bank Manager for 1st National Bank, where her dedication and strong work ethic left a lasting impact on colleagues and clients alike. Among her many interests, Barbara found joy in traveling, crafting, and gardening, passions that enriched her life and brought happiness to those around her. She embraced her creativity with a spirit that resonated with everyone she met.
Barbara is survived by her loving son, Edward J. Stilling, Jr. (Suzanne), and her cherished daughter, Vicki V. White (Michael Janos) and dear son, Robert Milburn. She was a devoted grandmother to Ashley Bergersen, Lindsey Tarr, and Carleigh Vanskiver, and delighted in the company of her great-grandchildren, Liam Bergersen, Lyla Bergersen, Lydia Tarr, and Lexi Tarr. Barbara also shared a close bond with her brother, Ray Moore, who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward J. Stilling, Sr., and her son, Anthony J. Stilling. Barbara is also reunited in memory with her siblings: Daniel Moore, Bill Moore, Chuck Moore, Geraldine Jones, Martha Hill, and Jimmy Moore.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Barbara’s life at a Mass to be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church, located at 7436 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd, Glen Burnie, MD, 21061. The service will provide an opportunity for all to come together in remembrance of a remarkable woman who meant so much to so many.
