Anita Louise Moore

Anita Louise Moore, 82, of Millersville, passed away on December 16, 2023. She was born in Baltimore to the late John William and Mary Frances McCoy. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling, taking day trips throughout the region, playing cards and Dominos, reading and watching Marvel movies. Anita also liked fill in puzzles and regular puzzles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Robert Henry Moore; son, Bobby Moore; and many siblings.

Anita is survived by her loving daughters, Denise Moore, Beth Moore and Rebecca Moore (Randy Wicks); cherished granddaughter, Amanda Moore (Andrew Gambino); and her caring sister, Mary Patricia Barrick (George Norman Barrick II). She will also be missed by her loving in-laws, Thomas Moore (Birdie) and Jo Moore; many beloved nieces and nephews; and her faithful companion, Leela.

Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, Glen Burnie, on Friday, Dec. 29^th, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, 10:30 AM, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Interment will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 2^nd, 11:30 AM, at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
