Shirley Beatrice Wheatley, 74, passed away on August 21, 2017. Shirley was born on July 28, 1943 in Smithville, Maryland. Shirley retired from Churchill Distributors as a Customer Service Representative after 25 years of service. She enjoyed cooking, Casino games and reading. She was an active member in her church and assisted with Sunday school.
Shirley is survived by her devoted children, Kimberly Jackson and her husband, Louis; and Monica Wheatley; her loving grandchildren, Brian Jackson, Sean Jackson, and Isaiah Wheatley; her dear sister, Joyce Jackson; and her nieces, Tamathea Perry, Nicole Clemens; Brandy Jackson.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Sunday, August 27th from 3-5 pm. A Funeral service will be held on Monday at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel.
