Marsha Frazier

On October 15, 2018, Marsha Marie Frazier, 74, of Glen Burnie, passed away at Hospice of the Chesapeake Inpatient Care Center. Marsha was born on August 17, 1944, in Henderson, North Carolina, to the late Frieda and William Greenway. She was very active in the Glen Burnie community as president of N.C.E.O.N., and a volunteer with the G.B.I.A., MD Food Bank, and Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She loved Diet Coke, the Big Glen Burnie Carnival, volunteering, traveling, cooking, spending time on the boardwalk down the Ocean, cheering on the Ravens and Orioles, and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and her Jay Jay.
Marsha was predeceased by her devoted husband of 38 years, Franklin "Donnie" Frazier, her beloved son, William L. Frazier, her dear brother, Richard "Dickie" Greenway, and her son-in-law, James Beatty. She is survived by her loving daughters, Helen E. McCarthy and Adrienne Beatty; her cherished grandchildren, Christopher Green II, John Joseph McCarthy IV, Samantha Beatty, and Katie McCarthy; her beloved great-grandson, John Joseph McCarthy V, and two great-grandchildren on the way, Easton Christopher Green, and Madison Davis; her dear sister-in-law, Helen Greenway; and her best friends, Vera Sharp and Sophie Bennett. Marsha is also survived by many extended family and friends.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Thursday, October 18th, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 19th, at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 7436 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard, Glen Burnie, Maryland 21061. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marsha's name may be made to N.C.E.O.N., 304 5th Avenue, SE, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
