Mariette Stein

Mariette Lucy Stein, 89, of Glen Burnie, passed away on February 14, 2018 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
Mariette was born on April 22, 1928 in Massachusetts to the late John and Rosa Canuel. As a child she moved with her family from Massachusetts to Baltimore, where she was educated in Catholic Schools. Her faith was an important part of her life. She was a parishioner at The Church of the Good Shepherd and enjoyed attending Mass and other church activities especially BINGO. She also enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, quilting, and shopping. She enjoyed 56 years of marriage to her beloved husband the late Michael W. Stein. She was preceded in death by all of her family, husband, parents, and her three sisters.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, Glen Burnie, on Thursday, Feb. 22nd, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to Friends of Animals 777 Post Rd Ste. 205, Darien, CT 06820 or charity of your choice.
