Gerard Straut

Gerard A. Straut, 76 of Millersville passed away on June 9, 2017. Gerard was born on August 22, 1940 in Paterson, NJ to the late John and Helen Straut. He was a salesman for many years with Walter Kidde Company, Badger Fire Protection and Dolan Fire Protection. He enjoyed collecting baseball cards, leather post cards, and coins. He liked playing cards and had a great sense of humor, always making jokes. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Straut; his two children, Pamela Hicho and her husband, Patrick; and James Straut and his wife, Michaela Trnkova; his two grandchildren, Andrew and Hayden Hicho.

A Memorial Service was held on Thursday for Mr. Straut. Contributions in his name may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy., Pasadena, MD 21122 or to the Tate Center.
