Eleanor Pumphrey

Eleanor Rae Pumphrey, 86, a life long resident of Odenton, passed away on October 23, 2013. She was born in Baltimore, MD on January 5, 1927 to the late John and Alice Ortman. She graduated from Arundel Senior High School and was a member of Nichols Bethel United Methodist Church. She greatly enjoyed reading, watching old movies and traveling. She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Pumphrey, Jr. and one daughter, Judith Pumphrey. She is survived by her son, William A. Pumphrey, III and wife Elizabeth; three grandchildren, Addison, Christopher and Caitlyn; and two sisters-in-law, Diane Pumphrey and Lois Barton.
