On March 2, 2010, Henry John Downie of Severn; devoted husband of Ann Powers Downie; beloved father of Jennett Downie; cherished son of James and Irene Downie; dear brother of Diane Downie Lowder and her husband Dr. Gerard Lowder, and Karen Downie Scott; preceded in death by his daughter Mary Elizabeth Downie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Henry was born in Northern Ireland in 1959. He graduated from Glen Burnie High School, and attended UMBC and the University of Santa Barbara. He was employed at Northrup Grumman for 25 years.
