On January 22, 2010, Lena Caley, a resident of Glen Burnie for 42 years, passed away at her home after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Lena was born in Manitoba, Canada to the late George and Mary (Symchych) Genyk. After graduating high school, she was employed with North Arundel Hospital as a nurse's aide, and retired in 1992 after 13 years of service. She was very active in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and has been a member of the church for over 40 years. Lena enjoyed bowling, fishing, cards, and traveling. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Glenn W. Caley; children, Brett A. Caley and wife Dawn, Dr. Glenda M. Caley and husband Dr. Neil Wilson; two grandchildren, Monica L. and Megan E. Caley; two siblings, Alec Genyk and Pearl Wladyka.
