Violet Bennett

Bennett, Violet Delores, 88, died of natural causes on January 22, 2013 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She was born September 27, 1924 in Baltimore, MD. She lived with her husband, Maren, until his death September 24, 2012 for 71 years. They lived mostly in Linthicum Heights, MD until moving to Oak Lodge Senior Home earlier last year. Violet Worked for years assisting on a school bus for challenged children. She loved her job. Violet and Maren enjoyed traveling with their friends to places like Niagra Falls, Disney World and taking cruises. They raised three children, John Bennett and wife Pat from Severna Park, MD, Robert Bennett and wife Debbie from Harrington, DE and Linda Sporer and husband Jim from Essex, MD. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Duane, Darren, Jill, Brian, Jeff and Laura; and nine great-grandchildren. Violet loved going to her church, St. John's Lutheran in Linthicum.
