Valerie Hood

Valerie C. Hood, 57, of Glen Burnie passed away at her residence on January 10, 2014. Valerie was born on June 30, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland to Alston and Dorothy Jeffries. She recently retired from N.I.H. in Bethesda, MD as a transportation supervisor. She loved cooking, shopping, gardening, floral arranging, working around the house, and spending time with her family.

Valerie was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin C. Hood, Sr. She is survived by her children, Krista Jeffries and Marvin C. Hood, Jr., her grandchildren; Lauren Herren, Shana Lawrence, Marvin C. Hood, III, and Emily Hood, her partner, Jeff Schueler, and her siblings; Deborah Rush, Linda Leuders, and Austin Jeffries, Jr.
