Stanley Daukzsewicz

November 5, 1927 — July 23, 2013

Stanley "Custic" Daukzsewicz, 85, a resident of Crownsville for 35 years, passed away on July 23, 2013 at Mandarin Hospice House. He was born in Curtis Bay, MD on November 5, 1927 to the late Konstanty and Josefa Daukzsewicz. He served in the United States Navy from 1945-1948. He was employed with MD Shipbuilding and Dry Dock as an Ironworker for 40 years. Stanley was a member of the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge and American Legion (Annapolis) and enjoyed fishing and crabbing. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lillie Daukzsewicz (nee Johns); two sons, Gary and Phillip Daukzsewicz; two stepchildren, Timothy and Judy Dayhoff; one granddaughter, Kristie Daukzsewicz; one grandson, Steven Bowen; one great-grandson, Mason Bowen; and two sisters, Genevieve Bobrosky and Sophie Brager.
