Samuel Buclous

Samuel Louis Buclous of Clearwater, FL and previously of Glen Burnie left this world on August 21, 2016, the day after celebrating his 83rd Birthday. Sam was born in 1933 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. He was employed with General Motors for 38 years as a Product Distributor. Sam was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Clearwater, Florida where he was a past Church Council member for 6 years, past Treasurer of the Orthodox Men's Club, and member of the AHEHA. He cooked for the Outreach People of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and also fed the homeless of Pinellas County for 10 years. Sam worked the Greek Festival in Florida where he made the salads for 10 years. He was diagnosed with cancer in 1997 and then travelled to the Holy Lands and was Baptized in the Sacred Holy River of Jordan. Sam was a cancer survivor for 19 years. He was the President of the Dolphin Cove Condominiums in Florida, and was a member of the Millington Masonic Lodge #166, the Boumi Shriners, and the Scottish Rite Valley of Baltimore. Sam enjoyed golfing, loved dancing and travelling, and was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. He loved his Family and his Church. Sam is survived by his Wife of 56 years - Daisy Buclous (nee Tselepis); his three Sons - Elliot, Michael and Gary Buclous of Maryland; his Sister - Chris Schmidt of Florida; many Niece's, Nephew's, Godchildren and one Grand-Puppy Bond. He was preceded in death by his Brother - James Buclous of Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Outreach Program @ 409 Old Coachman Road, Clearwater, FL 33765.
