Robert Galvin

March 23, 1931 — March 25, 2012

Robert Vernon Galvin, 81, of Millsboro, DE and previously of Arbutus, MD, passed away on March 25, 2012. Robert was born in 1931 in Baltimore, Maryland. He served in both the US Marine Corps and the US National Guard. Robert was a member of the American Legion, VFW, Marine Corps League and was a Comandante for the State of Delaware. He enjoyed traveling, watching westerns and was a civil war buff. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Anita J. Galvin; three children, Linda Thurston, Robert A. Galvin and Michael Galvin; 2 brothers and 4 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association, 415 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.
