Richard Fick

On Tuesday November 2, 2011, Richard Frank Fick of Springhill Flordia, formerly of Maryland. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor Fick, fond brother in law of Ida Fick. Caring uncle of Robert, Bill, Larry, Brian, Alfred, and Richard Fick. He is also survived by many neices and nephews.
Mr. Fick enjoyed playing football in highschool. Was raised in a small coalmining community in Roberts Dale Pennsylvania. He served his county well in the United States Navy, from 1943-1946, while in the Navy he was known as a shipfitter and was on many vessels. He earned an American Theater Ribbon and a Victory Medal. Then he was employed at the Ship Yard in Curtis Bay where he retired after 30 years of service. In his life he loved to buy new automobiles, even up until the last week when he wanted to take his car for a ride. He enjoyed going out to dinner to different restraunts.
