Ray West

On May 10, 2015, Ray Lewis West passed away at his home after a long and hard battle. He will be greatly missed by any and all who witnessed his wide and warm smile. Although physically compromised, Ray was an example to his friends and family. He exhibited joy each and every day, which was an inspiration to those who met him. If given the chance he would have liked to thank his nurses; Jodie Staley, Lola Osho and Mohammed Jabbie, not only for their professional care, but for their loving concern and friendship.
Ray is survived by his mother and father, Connie and David West; his gang of brothers, David, Douglas, Jason, Jesse, Anthony and Xavier West, and Rayshawn Hargis; his foster siblings, Axel and Bianca; and his grandparents, Robert and Nancy Duckett, and Donald West. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruth West.
His life may have ended, but his smile will live on forever in our memories.
