Michael Harrington

Michael Joseph Harrington, a 48 year resident of Linthicum, passed away on May 10, 2012 after a long illness. He was born in Baltimore, MD on August 3, 1932 to the late Joseph and Charlotte Harrington. He served in the United States Navy and received the National Defense Service Ribbon and Good Conduct Medal. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed airplanes and eagles. Michael is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gretchen; three daughters, Margaret Kaline and husband Gary, Patti Dixon and husband Chuck and Mary Harrington; one granddaughter, Becky Dixon; two sisters, Katherine Hare and Mary Barnard; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association, 1850 York Road, Suite D; Timonium, MD 21093 OR American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street; Alexandria, VA 22311.
