Melvin Morrison

August 13, 1941 — May 5, 2013

On May 5, 2013 Melvin Morrison, 71, a resident of Linthicum, passed away at Heart Homes Assisted Living. He was born in Baltimore, MD on August 13, 1941 to the late Roxie and William Morrison, Sr. He attended Brooklyn Park High School, graduating in 1959. He was employed with the Anne Arundel County Fire Department for 30 years. Melvin was a member of Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church and greatly enjoyed gardening, traveling, sports and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, William Morrison, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joyce; two sons, Ken Morrison of Chicago, IL and Scott Morrison and wife Diane of Stevensville, MD; and one grandson, Ryan Morrison.
