Marlene Keyser

May 28, 1934 — June 17, 2017

Marlene Elizabeth Keyser, 83, of Glen Burnie, passed away at her home on June 17, 2017. She was born in Baltimore to the late Frank and Ersie Alt. She was a crossing guard for over 50 years, set to retire after this year. Marlene was an animal lover and enjoyed shopping, baking and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. Keyser Sr.
She is survived by her children, Marlene Simering, Christine Patterson and Richard D. Keyser Jr. and his wife, Ann; six grandchildren, Nicole, Michelle, Scott, Michael, Alexus and Matthew; three great-grandchildren and her brother, Edward Horney.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 24th, 5 PM, in the funeral home chapel. There will be a gathering prior from 4-5 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make a donation in her memory to the Humane Society, 1255 23rd Street, NW, Suite 450, Washington DC, 20037 or by visiting www.humanesociety.org
