Margaret Polm

Margaret "Jane" Polm, 80 passed away on July 12, 2012 at the Peartree House Assisted Living in Pasadena. Jane was born on March 28, 1932 in Pennsylvania to Roy and Ollie Guthrie. She retired from Anne Arundel County Schools after teaching for over 30 years in Glen Burnie, Pasadena and Linthicum. Jane enjoyed spending time at her senior citizens group in Pasadena. She took great pleasure in drawing, painting and ceramics; going to the movies, especially any movie starring Morgan Freeman; dining out and just being around her family. A special thank you is given to the entire staff at the Peartree House Assisted Living for the wonderful care they gave to Jane during her stay with them. Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Eugene Polm, her sister, Louise Poling and her son, Robert Polm. She is survived by sons, Richard and Edward Polm; her brother, Richard Guthrie; her daughter-in-laws, Terry, Jill and Sharon Polm and her grandchildren, Meredith, Jessica, Matthew, Jason and his wife Jenny, Danny and Laura Polm.
