Maren Bennett

MAREN JOHN BENNETT, 90, died of natural causes on September 24, 2012 at Oak Lodge Senior Home in Pasadena, MD. He was born April 8, 1922 in Baltimore, MD to the late Helen & Maren Bennett. He lived with his wife, Violet, for 71 years mostly in Linthicum Heights, MD until moving to Oak Lodge earlier this year. He served in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1946. Maren worked as an electrician at Maryland Drydock for many years. He loved going to the racetrack whenever he could and spending time at the Pascal Senior Center. They raised three children, John Bennett and his wife Pat from Severna Park, MD, Robert Bennett and his wife Debbie from Harrington, DE, and Linda Sporer and her husband Jim from Essex, MD. Maren was blessed with six grandchildren, Duane, Darren, Jill, Jeff, Laura & Brian. He also has 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St. John Lutheran Church, 300 West Maple Road, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090.
