Leonard Salatti

Leonard Salatti, beloved husband of 67 years to Theresa Salatti (nee Demma), passed away April 20, 2015 at the age of 93. He served with the 44th Infantry in WWII, seeing action in the Rhineland, Northern France and Central Europe, including the Battle of the Bulge. He later joined the US Army Field Band, first as a musician and later as an administrator. He retired in 1977 with the rank of Sergeant Major. After retirement, he became an avid runner, completing numerous races, including two marathons.
Leo is also survived by four children, Nicholas (fiancée Peggy), Pietro (Maria), Maria (Gerard) and Lisa (Jeff), 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren with another on the way, and his beloved brother Antonio Salatti.
