Lavina Kowolaski

September 20, 1920 — March 3, 2014

KOWOLASKI, Lavina Jessie, 93, born September 20, 1920, in New Cumberland, PA, passed away to be with our Lord, on March 3, 2014 in Land O'Lakes, Florida. Beloved mother, she is survived by her daughter, Sharon Dixon and husband Glenn of Land O'Lakes, FL; son, Jon Kavalauskas and wife Nita of Silver Spring, MD; and daughter, Bonnie Easler and husband Wayne of Carson City, NV. She is also survived by a sister, Edna G. Ayers, 95, of Wetumpka, AL, three nieces and one nephew. She had seven grandchildren, Scott Carroll, Kristen L. Dixon, Shannon Webb, Kathryn Farhan, and Anna, Mary, and Joseph Kavalauskas, and eight great-grandchildren. Her husband, Joseph D. Kowolaski, preceded her in death in November, 2000.
Lavina was a longstanding, active member of Harundale Presbyterian Church in Glen Burnie, MD and a veteran of World War II. After many years of being a homemaker, she began working at N.S.A. and stayed for twenty-two years. She was beautiful, funny, and caring, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Mom, Grandma, and GG, we love you so much!
