Karleen Pumphrey

Karleen Prout Pumphrey, 79, of Glen Burnie, passed away on August 3, 2012 at her home. Karleen was born in 1932 in Friendship, MD. She was a C.P.A. for a private firm in Glen Burnie and also a substitute teacher for Anne Arundel County from 1965-1972. She loved crabbing, sewing, camping, raising German Shepherds, bowling, and spending time with her family. Karleen is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Robert L. Pumphrey, her sons, Rick and Donald Pumphrey, her daughters, Susan Moore, Cynthia Pumphey-Glime; and six grandchildren, Stephanie and Shane Pumphrey, Daniel and David Moore, & Nathan and Rachel Glime. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Chesapeake, 445 Defense Hwy, Annapolis, MD 21401.
