Joseph Graham Urps, 86, of Glen Burnie, passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center on May 18, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Chilhowie, Virginia to the late Charles and Willie Urps. He was a member of Ferndale United Methodist Church, Glen Burnie Moose and Masonic Lodges, Annapolis Tall Cedars and booster member of the American Legion Patrick Henry Post 34. Joe enjoyed horse racing, playing Texas Holdem in Atlantic City and watching the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens.
Joe is survived by his wife of 37 years, Ina Irene Urps; three daughters, Deborah Bush (Wayne), Dorothy Torres (John) and Jo Ellen Liverette; one stepson, Darrell Smith (Karen); 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Peggy Lazor; three sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
