John Lougee

On March 28, 2015, John Lougee, beloved life partner of Irene Linden, dear brother of Lee Lougee, "Uncle John" to his nephew and niece, died at Fairfield Nursing Center after a short illness. John studied at Maryland Institute of Art and made his living as a graphic artist. He loved to paint, read, watch movies and build model airplanes. He is also survived by cherished friends, cousins, and his daily companion, their parrot "Blossom".
A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 11 from 3-4 pm at the following location: Annapolis Friends Meeting, 351 Dubois Rd.; Annapolis, MD 21401, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in John's memory to The Oasis Sanctuary (parrot rescue) at www.the-oasis.org.
