James Morsell

May 23, 1928 — June 27, 2013

On June 27, 2013 Mr. James "Bob" Morsell passed away at his residence in Glen Burnie. Mr. Morsell was born on May 23, 1928 in Baltimore, MD. He served our country during WWII in both the Coast Guard and the Army. In the Coast Guard he was stationed at Fort Polk, LA and the Army in the South Pacific. After WWII he joined the USMC and fought in the Korean War. Once Bob got out of the service he joined the Baltimore City Police Department - Southern District and worked there until retirement. He was a member of The Last Patrol, Glen Burnie Masonic Lodge #213, and the American Legion Post #40. Mr. Morsell was an avid Orioles Fan, enjoyed golfing , and going camping with his wife.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Geraldine Morsell. He is also survived by his children, Robert F. Morsell, Cathy Uchic and her husband Dennis, Kim Faust and her husband Wayne, and Kelly Dieter and her significant other Bill; his step children, Thomas Wisniewski, Michael Wisniewski and his wife Val, and Kenneth Wisniewski (who emulated everything Bob did in life) and his wife Judy; his sister, Jean Trevillian; his brothers William and Jerry Morsell; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
