LeRoy Butler, 94 of Glen Burnie/Severn passed away at home on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. LeRoy was born, March 26, 1919 to the late Walter and Olivia Butler.
Though the words are not our own "The greatest of men, live in quiet anonymity." A man of uncomprising character, the very foundation of our entire family. LeRoy retired at the age of 52, with 31 years service with the Naval Weapons Engineering Support Activity. He also served in the US Marine Corps in the 1940's. He was a member of various churches and social organizations and was an Honorary Life Member of NARFE.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Ethel. He is survived by his sons, Rodger Wilhelm, Walter Butler, Michael Butler and his daughters, Jo Ann Ross and Robin Voluse. At the time of his death, he was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family is requesting that donations be made in his name to your favorite charity.
