FRANCIS M. HAAS, 88, a resident of Glen Burnie for most of his life, passed away on October 2, 2014 at Hospice of Queen Anne's. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 14, 1926 to the late Frank and Myrtle Haas. He served in the United States Navy and enjoyed woodworking and camping. He was the life of the party and loved taking care of everyone.
Francis was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Bessie R. Haas. He is survived by his children, Barbara J. Reed, Gary M. Haas, Frank C. Haas and Michael A. Haas; two grandchildren, Gregory A. Reed, Jr. and Brady C. Haas; two great-grandchildren, Jordanlyn Reed & Kyle A. Reed; and one sister, Anita Smith.
