Elizabeth Warfield

On April 3, 2014, Mrs. Elizabeth "Libby" Warfield of Severn, MD went home to be with the Lord. The last days of her life was spent peacefully at the Bloomington Hospice House in Bloomington, IN. Mrs. Warfield was born in Northern Anne Arundel County on September 8, 1918. She taught Sunday School at Glen Burnie United Methodist Church, where she has been a long time member. Libby was a member of the 301 Club, Severn Senior Citizens, Methodist Womens, and Fiddlis Sunday School Class. Mrs. Warfield enjoyed painting china, arts and crafts, sewing, and gardening.
Libby was preceded in death by her husband, Barnsley Warfield, her son; Bobby Warfield, and her brother; William Gardner. She is survived by her children; Pete Warfield and his wife Barbara, and Barbara Hodsdon and her husband Dale, 5 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Avenue SW (at Crain Highway) on Thursday from 11AM to 1PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1PM in the funeral home's chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
