Eleanora Holmes

On November 16, 2017, Eleanora E. Holmes (nee Heim), of Glen Burnie; beloved wife of 56 years to the late Charles F. Holmes; devoted mother of Dawn L. Grosshandler and Charles Ronald Holmes (Paula); cherished grandmother of Dawn M. Compton (Jeff), Charles T. "CT" Holmes and Mitchell Alexander; loving great-grandmother of Lavinia Compton; dear sister of Lillian Hoyle (Marvin), Thelma Perry and Patricia O'Guin; and dear aunt to four generations of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jonas Grosshandler, sister, Beatrice Bordner and brothers, William, Norman, Howard, Edward and Franklin Heim.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Avenue SW, Glen Burnie, on Monday, Nov. 20th, from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, 1 PM, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 7436 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., Glen Burnie. Interment immediately following at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
