DORIS HAZEL MARVEL, 90, of Glen Burnie, died on May 7, 2012. She was born in Odenton, MD on November 11, 1921 to the late Herbert and Irma Turner. Hazel was a loving homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially all of her grandchildren. She is survived by one son, Robert Lee and wife Betsy; daughter-in-law, Mary; grandchildren, David, Robert W. and wife Pam, Randy and companion Chris, Ronald and wife Lisa; great-grandchildren, Mandi Quinn and husband Chris, Amber Gill and husband David, Miranda, Ronald, Kevin and David; two great-great-grandchildren, Blake and Kennedi Nicole; and one brother, Chester Turner. She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Frank Louis Marvel, Jr., one son, Francis Larry, and two brothers, Russell and Arthur. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 1041 Rt. 3 North Building A1; Gambrills, MD 21054.
