Doris Gunther

Doris E. Gunther (nee Koslowski), 92, a resident of Glen Burnie for 58 years, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2018. She was one of 12 children, born to the late Frederick and Emma Koslowki. She retired from Westinghouse / CGR after 20 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and loved to entertain family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Charles Allen Gunther Sr. and her 11 siblings.
Doris is survived by her beloved children, Doris Koellner and her husband, Kenneth, Barbara Shacklock and her husband, Mike, Edgar "Butch" Gunther and his wife, Barbara, Charles "Al" Gunther and his wife, Joann, Marcella "Marcy" Parish and her husband, Kenny, Catherine "Kate" Stumpf and her husband, Paul; loving grandchildren, David, Michael, Christopher, Nicole, Missy and Al; and seven cherished great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Tuesday, May 22nd, from 4-8 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, 11 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
