Darlene Deal

DARLENE J. DEAL, 75 of Oldtown, MD passed away Friday, July 5, 2013 at her daughter's home in Missouri. Born on December 6, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Griffiths and Margaret (Ellis) Fousek. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Jerry R. Deal, Sr.; her two sons, Michael and Leroy Deal, her sister, Diane Cowger and her granddaughter, Rachell Deal.

Darlene attended Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church where she was a member of the women's group. She loved to read, going to play BINGO and playing on her computer.

She is survived by four sons, Timmy Deal and wife, Allison with whom she resided with for the past seven years, Jerry R. Deal, Jr. and wife, Stephanie, Brian Deal and wife, Sandy, Corey Deal and wife, Michelle; one daughter, Deborah Anderson and husband, Bruce; three brothers, Raymond Griffiths and wife, Phyllis, Wayne Griffiths and wife, Carol, Gary Griffiths and wife, Shirley; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and special granddogs.
