Charles Wroten

Charles G. Wroten, 90 of Millersville, peacefully passed away on August 26, 2013 on his 63rd wedding anniversary at his residence. He was born on June 1, 1923 in Cambridge, MD. Charles served in the Marine Corps as a Private First Class during WWII. He was a civil engineer for the State of Maryland and retired after 35 years of service. Charles coached Little League Baseball for Gambrills-Odenton, Linthicum-Ferndale Rec. Councils. He was a member of the Anne Arundel Taxpayer Association and the American Legion Post 26 in Denton. He was preceded in death by seven siblings. Charles is survived by his wife of 63 years, Edith M. Wroten; his children, C. Curtis Wroten, Deborah A. Hinsche, John R. Wroten and Susan M. Hanlin. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
