Charles Owings

On January 4, 2015, Charles Francis Michael Owings, of Linthicum passed away at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born in Baltimore, MD to the late Helen and Charles Owings and then served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Charles retired after 40 years of service as a master electrician at Anchor Hocking Corporation. He was a member of the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge and enjoyed dancing, fishing, and playing golf.
Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Catherine; his devoted children, Stephen Michael Owings, Leslie Kathleen Heird and husband Mark and the late Dawn Marie van Rossum; his cherished grandchildren, Katherine Ann Villamar and husband Rolando, Samuel Owings Heird, Chobie Antonius van Rossum, Stephanie Michelle Owings and Charles Joseph Owings; his loving great-grandchildren, Lucia Adrianna and Violet Sky Villamar; and his dear siblings, Howard and Helen.
